I was listening to LakeTrout one of my fav bands in the car after staying up all night. I went to a party with a friend and left early because it got lame. It was cool in the beginning. They were all actors from this play that was opening in town. I was invited to the after show party… The joys of being a musician… You do get to go to about every party you want to. So I was hanging out with this girl I knew and her brother. This is about when people started to get a little buzzed and you could tell. Some people fight when they get drunk but actors just try and top each other for attention. I left. Actors are cool. I like them but they do want to be the show. Anyway, after I left I took this girl home and drove around and around and around town. I decided screw it and just stayed up all night, drank a bunch of coffee, listened to laketrout, and watch the sun rise over the buildings. It was cool. I set on this old park bench and wrote this song.
