I wrote the closer song for Rebel without a Clause yesterday. I thought I was done but now I am. I called maybe a day. Say tuned because I will have it up by the end of the week. I will also be posting the lyrics on my lyrics page. I going to get around to posting all the Songs off of Rebel without a Clause next week sometime. The cd is still in the works. I decided that I wanted to add more to it… Artists huh? It’s gonna be awesome tho. Mind blowing… Thats what I like to call it.
I have a show @ Tiny Tavern with The Cocker Spaniels on the fourth. What better way to spend the fourth than listening to Three good bands!

I went camping over the last week @ Brice creek. It’s a small way out in the middle of no were campground. It’s rained and rained and rained and rained and … well I guess you get the picture. It was okay because I wasn’t really camping or tent camping. I was in a rv. Lucky me.
All I really did was read this really good book. It’s called “Ripped How the Wired Generation Revolutionized Music”. If your a musician or just a music fan this is the book for you. The book is broke up in to article like chapters all which are an easy read. It goes though Bright Eyes’ rise to indie fame plus bands like Death Cab and ok go. It basically just goes over the music industry over the last 15 or so year. People like Prince and his “crazy” marketing ideas plus Radio Head and Trent Reznor, with there ideas on free music, are all interviewed. Ripped tells the story of Napster and how peer to peer is “killing” cd sells. Most of the book seems to be focused on artist, music lovers, e-zines, average people, and large music executives. It’s one of the best books I have read all year. Go get it.. Read it… It’s worth it… 4.5/5 stars
